Third Annual NIU Cultural Meet and Greet - CANCELED

Enjoy an evening out with fellow NIU alumni, prospective Huskies and their families, while experiencing art from NIU alumnus JGENUS (Jolien Genus), M.F.A. '07, and current students. Reunite with classmates and learn more about programs and new initiatives at NIU.

This event will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, at the NIU Naperville campus, 1120 E. Diehl Road, Naperville. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.

Your hostess, Chief Diversity Officer Vernese Edghill-Walden, Ph.D., will share the progress of NIU’s diversity and inclusion efforts, while celebrating the roles the diversity and cultural resource centers and key programs contributing to student success.

Our diverse group of centers and programs will join us including the Asian American Resource Center, Black Alumni Council, Center for Black Studies, CHANCE Program, Disability Resource Center, Gender and Sexuality Resource Center, Latino Alumni Association, Latino Resource Center, Military and Post-Traditional Student Services, and Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
