NIU Latino Alumni Council – Huskies Run for Office

Join the Latino Alumni Council for Huskies Run for Office, a virtual Zoom panel discussion on Wednesday, April 21, from 7-8:30 p.m. CT.

Attendees will hear about the importance of running for office and having Latinx representation and grassroots advocacy in the political sphere. The panel will share experiences of NIU Latinx alumni who ran for local offices in the 2021 municipal elections.

This event will be moderated by Erin Hernandez, ’18, and will feature Jacky Aguilera, ’13, Rosealia Arteaga, ’15, Sandra González, ’15, and Deyci Ramírez, ’07, M.S.Ed. ’18.
