Join the NIU Alumni Association on Friday, Dec. 17, as we travel to Orlando, Florida, to watch the 2021 Mid-American Conference football champion NIU Huskies take on Coastal Carolina in the 7th Annual Cure Bowl.

 

Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. ET, at Exploria Stadium, home of Major League Soccer's Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League. You can purchase your game tickets here.

Prior to the game, the NIU Alumni Association will hold a reception at Harry Buffalo from 3:30-5:30 p.m. ET. This event, which is located less than a half mile from the stadium, will include an appetizer buffet and two drink tickets.

• Adults: $40 ($50 at the door); Kids (under 12): $10 ($20 at the door)

If you have not secured a hotel room for the game, we encourage you to book as quickly as possible. A limited number of rooms are available at the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Downtown and Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which is 10 miles away from the stadium.  **PLEASE NOTE** There will be no shuttle bus service to and from the pregame reception or Exploria Stadium.

The excitement is not limited to Friday, as there will be activities for all Huskies to enjoy on Thursday (Dec. 16) evening. The annual Pep Rally/Battle of the Bands, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 5-6 p.m. ET at the Universal CityWalk Lagoon and Plaza Stage.

Following the Pep Rally, all are invited to the Downtown PourHouse for a casual get together that begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Appetizers will be provided and a cash bar is available.
