San Francisco Food Tour of Chinatown
San Francisco Food Tour of Chinatown

Saturday, Nov. 12

Bay Area Huskies, we are headed back to San Francisco this fall for a food tour through Chinatown!

San Francisco Chinatown is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia as well as the oldest Chinatown in North America. It is also one of the top tourist attractions in San Francisco!

Our three-hour walking tour will begin in front of the Chinatown gates and will make stops at Chinatown bakeries, tea shops and the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory while also enjoying other local favorites. A sit-down meal is also included, where attendees will enjoy Peking duck, potstickers, sesame balls and tea (vegetarian and vegan options available).

Masks may be required on parts of the tour and proof of vaccination is required to attend per San Francisco ordinance.

Questions? Contact Dana King, ’05, director of NIU Foundation & Alumni events, at 815-753-5421 or dking1@niu.edu.
