The Rhone River rises from the Rhone Glacier in the Swiss Alps and runs through southeastern France before it meets the Mediterranean Sea. We begin this tour in the picturesque riverside town of Macon, located in southern Burgundy, an area of rolling landscapes and wonderful wine growing. From Macon, we will cruise to Chalon-sur-Saone, Lyon, Avignon, Uzes, Arles, and Camargue and end in Annecy, nicknamed the ”Venice of the Alps.”
