Winter has Come: Discuss Game of Thrones with NIU Professors Valerie Garver and Jeff Chown

Just in time for the series finale, meet NIU's own "Game of Thrones" experts, history professor Valerie Garver and media studies professor emeritus Jeff Chown, as they discuss the show over drinks and appetizers.

The pair received international media attention when they co-taught one of the first college courses ever offered on the hit HBO series, and as experts they have each been interviewed about the show dozens of times.


The event will take place at Mullen’s Bar and Grill, 3080 Warrenville Rd., Lisle, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. May 16. The cost is $15 ($20 at the door) and includes one drink ticket and appetizers.
