For over forty years, Dr. Anne C. Kaplan has shared her vision and educational talents with administrators, faculty, staff and students at NIU.  She is an advocate, visionary and true leader. Anne has consistently worked to build University relationships across the region and fostered partnerships that directly impact the mission and vision of NIU.

To honor her retirement, the NIU Foundation is pleased to highlight several funds that support her interests. 

Anne C. Kaplan Endowed Fund: Dr. Kaplan's endowed fund provides financial assistance for on-campus childcare to an NIU student who is a single parent and near completion of a degree or certificate program.

Center for Burma Studies: The major objective of the Center is to collect and preserve information and artifacts concerning the study of Burma/Myanmar and to make the materials available for research and study.

Northern Public Radio: The mission of Northern Public Radio is to enrich, inspire and inform adults in Northern Illinois through programs and services that share ideas, encourage thought and create community.

Women's Basketball:  Anne Kaplan played a pivotal role integrating athletics into the mission of the university and has chosen Women's Basketball as a beneficiary option for tribute gifts.
