Thursday, March 12
***NOTE - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED***
Come experience "March Madness" with the NIU Alumni Association and your fellow Huskies on Thursday, March 12, in Cleveland for the Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Tournament.
Join Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier, Head Coach Mark Montgomery, members of the Huskie Pep Band, and the NIU Silverettes for pregame festivities at Harry Buffalo as we get set to cheer on the Huskies.
This year's MAC Tournament will once again be hosted at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, home of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.
With the Huskies' latest win over Toledo, they have secured the No. 4 seed and a bye into the quarterfinals. They will play the winner of Monday's first round match-up between No. 5 seed Buffalo and No. 12 seed Miami (OH). You can follow the Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament bracket here.
If you are interested in purchasing seats with fellow Huskies, please fill out this intent to purchase form. The NIU Athletics Ticket Office will follow-up with you once they receive final seat locations on Monday, March 9, to finalize your ticket purchase.
The NIU Alumni Association pregame party at Harry Buffalo, will start at 12 p.m. You can preregister for the event for $10 ($15 at the door), and this fee includes heavy appetizers and one drink ticket.
There will also be opportunities for lucky Huskies to win some great NIU raffle prizes.
