Wednesday Night Wisdom With the NIU College of Business

Some of the best leaders know the power of humor and humility when guiding others. It is this approach that NIU’s College of Business Dean Balaji Rajagopalan, Ph.D., uses to benefit the college and his team. 

An inspiration in many ways, Rajagopalan is the featured speaker for our next Wednesday Night Wisdom online speaker event.

Under Rajagopalan’s leadership, the college recast its vision and mission and identified five strategic themes. These themes have been the focus of the COB's efforts to deliver transformational learning experiences and research to our students and the business community since 2016.

A visionary, Rajagopalan continuously inspires the NIU community to examine the role of technology in solving problems and transforming the way business is done, in monumental and incremental ways. He uses wit and modesty to find the best in his staff, faculty and students and continues to make a tremendous impact on the lives of others.
