Why did you start writing?

I began writing as a way to capture and share all of the hindsight and insight that 30+ years of sales success has afforded me, in the hopes that it could benefit those that follow.
 

How did NIU prepare you for a career as a writer?

The NIU College of Business prepared me for oral and written communication, to be effective at articulating benefits and selling solutions to complex business problems.
 

Describe the satisfaction of seeing your book published with your name on the cover.

The closest comparison of the overwhelming pride it gave me to see Sell The Difference in hardcover - and in circulation - is the pride I had watching each of my three daughters grow into beautiful, contributing, successful professionals.
