Embark on an unforgettable journey with South Africa's famed storyteller, Rob Caskie, as he vividly brings to life the extraordinary saga of Ernest Shackleton's Antarctic expedition.
 

Step into a world of unyielding courage and survival against all odds, as Caskie narrates the epic struggle of Shackleton, his brave crew, and their trusted team of huskies aboard the ill-fated HMS Endurance, in their historic bid to conquer the Antarctic wilderness.
 

Join the NIU Alumni Association, and our live mascot Mission, for Caskie's first NIU appearance from 5-7 p.m. CST on Thursday, March 7, at the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center located at 231 N. Annie Glidden Rd., DeKalb, Illinois. Refreshments will be served.
