Seven New Members Added to NIUAA Board of Directors, Marty Johnstone Named President

The NIU Alumni Association (NIUAA) has appointed seven new members to its board of directors. These individuals will assume their new roles beginning July 1, 2024.

Additionally, Marty Johnstone, '09, M.B.A. '21, most recently vice president, has been named the new board president.
 

"I am looking forward to leading this incredible group of passionate Huskie alumni," Johnstone said. "I want us to continue engaging with our fellow Huskies, encouraging them to stay active and involved."

The following new members join the board in upholding the mission of the Alumni Association—building lifelong relationships with NIU alumni, prospective students, corporate partners and friends:

•    Zachary Craft '12

•    Kate Durham '96

•    James Joost '07

•    Noripah Kamso '80
•    William Stein '95, M.S. '98

•    Ryan Weidner '98, M.B.A. '12

In addition to the seven new board members, Michelle Gorham '89, M.S. '92 and Kristin Hamblock '08, M.B.A. '15, will serve as board vice presidents beginning July 1.
