Why wait to celebrate Oktoberfest and Christmas? Join us on Saturday, Aug. 24, for an afternoon steeped in German tradition and culture while learning more about our upcoming Magical Christmas Markets trip through Germany, Switzerland and Austria! 

Raise a stein of Fruhauf with your fellow Huskies at Pollyanna Brewing and Distilling Company in St. Charles and enjoy a hands-on experience learning how the craft of beer brewing has played an important role in German culture and the importance of the brewing process and ingredients.

Attendees will also enjoy decorating Christmas-themed cookies led by Vickie of V's SweetArts.

NIU Alumni Travel Director Andrea Hodgeman will provide details of the upcoming Magical Christmas Markets trip, taking place Nov. 30-Dec. 8.
