Flavors of Peru

Peru is arguably one of the best food nations in the world! From empanadas and tamales to ceviche and lomo saltado, Peruvian cuisine is full of flavorful, fresh ingredients with influences from Indigenous populations as well as Spanish and Italian cuisine. 

Join your fellow Huskies and the NIU Alumni Association Travel Program, LLC from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Pacha Mama Peru restaurant in Sycamore to experience the Flavors of Peru.

Attendees will savor authentic Peruvian cuisine while learning more about the upcoming Culinary Peru trip with the NIU Alumni Association Travel Program, LLC from Director of NIU Alumni Travel, Andrea Hodgman.
