NIU Steelband Concert at the Burpee Museum

Escape to the tropical islands of the Caribbean without leaving Illinois when you join your fellow Huskies for an NIU Steelband concert at the Burpee Museum of Natural History in Rockford!

Led by NIU professor and Steelpan Director Liam Teague, considered one of the best and most accomplished steelpan performers in the world, the NIU Steelband performance will feature light-hearted island tunes and pan-centric versions of classical arrangements.

Light appetizers and a cash bar will be available during the event. Proceeds from this event will support the expenses of Rockford Area Huskies attending NIU.
