Rockford Huskies Welcome

The NIU Rockford Area Alumni Network and the NIU Alumni Association would like to invite all Rockford area Huskies to a picnic-style lunch celebration in honor of new graduates returning to Rockford and students headed to NIU this fall.

Enjoy great networking opportunities, a quick and engaging program and a chance to win a “Night on the Town” giveaway for Rockford or DeKalb—perfect for both incoming students and returning alumni! This year’s program will feature insights from a current NIU student as well as local alumnus Matt Simpson, M.P.A. ’14, partner for Eight Fifteen Capital, LLC which owns Wired Café in Rockford.

This free event will take place Sunday, July 20, at noon on the Riverview Terrace at the Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens in Rockford. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy the featured exhibit at the Nicholas Conservatory for free following the event (2-3 p.m.).
