Join the NIU Alumni Association for a lively and flavorful gathering at Wired Cafe in Rockford on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 3-5 p.m. This unique event blends education, caffeine and fun in one energizing experience you won’t want to miss!

Matt Simpson, M.P.A. ’14—NIU alumnus, development strategist, and partner at Eight Fifteen Capital, LLC (owners of Wired Café)—will take us behind the scenes of Wired’s distinctive roasting process. Discover what makes their brews truly stand out in a crowded coffee scene.

Enjoy exclusive roast samples, learn how subtle changes in temperature and time impact flavor, and deepen your appreciation for the art (and science) of coffee roasting. Whether you're a casual coffee drinker or a true aficionado, this event is sure to stir your interest.
