Lisa Frost

“Giving back isn’t difficult. Anyone can do it. I hosted my first event for NIU in my living room with my baby in a bassinet beside me.”
 

And so began alumnae Lisa Frost’s “Frost and Friends” annual art show event. The show, held annually in Rockford, funds scholarships for high school students to attend the NIU Visual Arts camp, “Summer in the Arts.”
 

Lisa says, “There is no better way to get students to attend college than to give them a taste of what it’s like to be there… to provide them an NIU experience!”
