Saturday, Feb. 21

Join your fellow Huskies for an afternoon of curling, camaraderie and culture from 1–3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Windy City Curling in Villa Park, Illinois!

Curling, often called “chess on ice,” has deep roots in Scottish tradition, dating back to the frozen lochs of the 16th century. During this fun and interactive session, you’ll get hands-on experience learning the fundamentals of this Olympic sport under the guidance of expert instructors.

While you’re on the ice, NIU Alumni Association staff will share exciting highlights of our alumni travel opportunities — including an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming Scotland: Highlands and Islands trip.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow Huskies, discover a sport born in Scotland, and learn more about how you can experience it firsthand!
