Latino Alumni Council Corre a Toda Madre 5K

In celebration of Mother’s Day, which is celebrated on May 10 in Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala, and on the second Sunday in May in the United States, the Latino Alumni Council invites you to take part in the Corre a Toda Madre 5K run.

Join the NIU Latino Alumni Council by participating in this 5K on Sunday, May 3, starting at 9 a.m. The 5K will be held virtually or you can join members of the Latino Alumni Council in Sugar Grove at McDole Park.

Feel free to take breaks and participate in a way that works best for you. The main goal is to get people active and healthy! You can participate in this event virtually through Sunday, May 10.

Registrants will receive a Strava link to join the NIU Latino Alumni Council Running Club and register for the event upon completing their registration on this page. The link can be found at the very bottom of the email confirmation receipt you receive from the NIU Alumni Association.

All proceeds will benefit the LAC Engagement Scholarship.
