Since the celebration of the college's 50th anniversary during the 2009-2010 school year, NIU's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has annually invited nominations for our Distinguished Alumni, Faculty and Staff Awards. These awards recognize individuals who have made major contributions to the college and its reputation. Recipients are selected by a committee comprised of alumni, faculty and staff and are honored in the fall.

To date, the college has honored 137 alumni, faculty and staff. We welcome your help in identifying exceptionally well-qualified individuals who deserve consideration for a 2018 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences award. All are invited to nominate alumni, faculty (current and emeriti) and current staff members for recognition. The selection committee will be asked to review a maximum of five pages of supporting materials for each nomination (not including the nomination form and your letter of nomination.) 

The alumni nomination form and faculty and staff nomination form are available online at http://go.niu.edu/CLAS-awards. All nomination materials must be received by Monday, March 19, 2018.
