Gensini to present on Jan. 28 and Jan. 29 as part of
Huskies Connect: Florida

 

The Northern Illinois University Alumni Association and NIU Foundation proudly present two Lunch and Learn events featuring NIU Professor Dr. Victor Gensini '08, M.S. '10 as part of Huskies Connect: Florida on Jan. 28-29.

 

Gensini will present "Tornadoes - Past Present and Future" at the Palmer Legends Country Club on Monday, Jan. 28 in The Villages and at Cafe D'Antonio on Tuesday, Jan. 29 in Celebration. Both events are from 12 - 1:30 p.m. ET and cost $15.

Gensini is a professor in the Department of Geographic and Atmospheric Sciences at NIU and a frequent contributor to The Weather Channel. His research focuses on extreme weather (tornadoes, hail, heavy rain, heat waves) and climate variability.
