I am honored to serve as the Dean of a law school whose rich history of distinction in legal education is rooted in access, diversity, and excellence in teaching. With a tradition of public service, we encourage students to become ethical leaders in the legal profession and to maintain a deep concern for justice in their communities, regardless of their practice area. Our success is made possible by our dedicated faculty and staff, our excellent students, our accomplished alumni, and donors who believe in our mission and support our work. We encourage you to make a donation to help us support our students and continue our mission.
College of Law Strategic Priorities Fund - This is the College of Law’s unrestricted fund, allowing the school maximum flexibility in addressing its most pressing needs. A portion of the fund provides Bar Prep Scholarships for graduates studying for the bar examination. Other priorities include funding experiential learning opportunities for our students, such as our Prisoners’ Rights Project. College of Law Student Scholarship Fund - This fund provides scholarships to incoming and current students to meet student financial needs and help recruit a diverse and strong student body. Daniel S. Reynolds Scholarship Fund - Few people have impacted the College of Law like Professor Emeritus Dan Reynolds. At Dan’s request, and in his memory, the College of Law has established this fund to help recruit applicants with excellence academic credentials. Embracing Diversity Scholarship - One of our bedrock values is to create an inclusive and diverse community. The Embracing Diversity scholarship provides financial support for rising second- and third-year students who create, manage, and oversee a series of talks and community conversations addressing issues of socio-economic diversity.
Leonard & Stacey Mandell Endowed Scholarship for the Study of Law – Former Associate Dean Lenny Mandell served the students for over 30 years. This scholarship in the College of Law will help us continue our recruiting efforts to further access, opportunity and diversity in the law and assist current students in need.
Please consider making a contribution. Your generosity makes a difference in the educational experience of our students.
Sincerely,
Cassandra L. Hill
Dean and Professor
