Huskie High 5 Campaign

As a Supportive Professional Staff (SPS) employee at NIU, you understand the importance of providing a high quality, affordable education to our students. And as an SPS member you have a unique opportunity to help support students who are also family members of SPS or students who have been impacted by a SPS.

The SPS Staff Scholarship Fund currently offers two scholarships annually: a $1,250 scholarship for the child or grandchild of an SPS employee, and a $750 scholarship for a student who has been mentored or impacted by an SPS employee.

In recent years scholarship applications have more than doubled. We are asking SPS employees and retirees, as well as faculty and other campus employees, to support the SPS Staff Scholarship Fund. Those who commit to giving and join the inaugural class of donors at one of the levels listed below by March 29, 2024, will be honored at the annual SPS Awards Program and Luncheon on April 3, 2024, and will be given a pin at that level.

SPS employees who give at the levels listed below will be honored at the annual SPS Awards Luncheon in March, and will be given a pin at that level.

• "High 5": SPS employees who give $5 per pay period, or $120 annually.
• Cardinal & Black: $10 per pay period, or $240 annually.
• Huskie Club: $15 per pay period, or $360 annually.
• Platinum Paw: $25 per pay period, or $600 annually.
• Legacy Level: SPS retirees who give $500 or more annually.
